11th Old Town Beer & Cider Festival

45+ beers and 30+ ciders.

It's our 11th year and we hope it will be the best one yet.

After the success of last year, we will be again running over 4 days.

On Thursday 9th May we will open the festival with our comedy evening. Keep an eye out for comic announcements in due course. Tickets for the comedy event will go on sale on Saturday 6th April

Friday 10th May will be our standard opening night of the festival. Come along and try some of the many beers and ciders on offer whilst socialising with others in Christ Church. 

On Saturday 11th May in the afternoon, there will be meet the brewer sessions with a chance for you to meet a few of our local breweries, grill them and try some of their ale. 

On the Saturday evening (5pm onwards), there will be live music from excellent local bands, Sweet Nightingale, The Lost Hills, Driftwood and the return of the fabulous What the Pluck who put on such a great performance last year.

We are also delighted to confirm that SALOS Musical Theatre company will be hosting an evening of songs from musicals to close our festival on the Sunday evening. Come along and enjoy the sing-along. The ticket price includes all drinks and snacks for this one.

Thursday 9th May - 7-11pm -  Comedy Night (In Christ Church only)- Prices TBC.

Friday 10th May - 6-11pm (In Christ Church only) - £15 (ticket includes entry, festival glass, festival guide and 2 x drinks)

Saturday 11th May - 12noon-10pm (In Christ Church and the Community Centre) - £15 (ticket includes entry, festival glass, festival guide and 2 x drinks)

Saturday 11th May - 5-10pm - £10 (ticket includes live music, festival glass, festival guide & first drink)

Sunday 12th May - £12 Adults/ £6 children - SALOS musical theatre company, an evening of well-known musicals. Concert doors open 6pm, commences 6.30pm till approx 8.30/9pm (ticket includes free beer/ cider & snacks)
