The Engaged Festival
This charity event will take place at The Dorcan Academy on Sunday 31st August 2014 between 11am-5pm. The festival is for all ages and the day will include entertainment such as live music, bouncy castle for the children, inflatable assault course for the adults and much more. There will be catering vans available on site too.
All monies raised will be split between 5 local charities, Swindon Carers Centre, Alzheimers research UK, Chernobyl Children's Lifeline, Prospect Hospice and Baby's fat cow fund. The event is organised by a group of students doing their national citizenship award (NCS) through a charity called Engage 4 life. As part of this course they were required to deliver a social action project.
