Working Lives in Bloom - A flower festival and heritage open day
Flower festival and heritage open day - Saturday 19th September - 1-4pm. Come and learn about the histories of local organisations through flowers and tours of our beautiful church and grounds.
The church and adjacent community centre will be decorated by local organisations with flower displays based around the everyday histories theme. The butcher, the baker, the candle stick makers showing designs based on what their ancestors did. There will be the opportunity to have tours around our 1851 church including bell tower, the church itself, viewing the incredible stain glass and the surrounding graveyard including 23+ war graves. Refreshments available and craft stores for all.
